There are special moments that pull everything we have learned into focus. When theory, practice, experience and talent all come to one sharp point — a decision that shapes a definitive course of action. When it's no longer an issue of what can be done, but of what you will do.

Through case method courses, learning team discussions, multimedia simulations and more, you exercise the leadership skills you will practice in business and beyond. The issues are complex, the stakes high, and the demands challenging. But as a result, you leave PARAM IMR with lessons in leadership that are practical, priceless and most importantly, real
Markets and management

Our learning emphasizes general management: the ability to manage across all areas of an organization. To be a good general manager, one needs to understand how each area affects the others and how to encourage them to cooperate.

But to be a great general manager, one must be able to look beyond the confines of the company and into the mind of the market. One must understand the social, political and economic forces that will shape the company's future.
Learning Beyond classroom:

The true test of business theory and MBA coursework is: Will this work in the real world? At  PARAM IMR, you'll find plenty of opportunities to apply classroom lessons to real-life business challenges.

In the classroom, You might work with a team of classmates to develop a new automotive launching strategy and determine whether or not it's viable. Or you might solve a real company's problems as a consultant for a local business or nonprofit. Beyond the classroom, PARAM IMR students participate in a number of business case competitions and this provides an excellent opportunity for students to hone leadership and management skills.

Power of Network:

At PARAM IMR, you'll form lasting social, intellectual and professional bonds with your classmates. Student culture at PARAM IMR is rich and multi-faceted, but a single principle ties it all together: teamwork.

Our students collaborate in the classroom (and outside it) to meet professors. They organize conferences, chair student groups and invite distinguished leaders to speak on campus. In an increasingly interconnected world, PARAM IMR students learn to harness the power of the team.

Experiential Learning

Experiential learning is a key place for corporate involvement as it allows company and nonprofit organizations to develop and enhance relationships with PARAM IMR faculty and students. These partners play an important role in student education and opportunity by providing expertise and support of student projects, case development, guest lectures, recruiting, and student activities such as clubs and conferences.
